I grew up one of four children in sunny Southern California. My brother, Matthew is autistic, and I saw first hand the way Occupational Therapists helped him to learn to interact with the world. I also saw how OT helped our family to understand him better. When I was completing my Master’s studies, I was diagnosed with ADHD myself, and I used Occupational Therapy tools to help myself understand my condition and to graduate with Merit! I even presented my dissertation (thesis for Americans) at the World Federation of Occupational Therapy Congress in Paris!
I earned my Bachelors Degree Linguistics, Psychology and Disability Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles and then moved to the UK to study Occupational Therapy. Since qualifying, I have worked in hospitals, community and schools. I specialise primarily in Neurological and Neurodiverse conditions and long-term disabilities.
My personal, professional and family life have given me a wealth of knowledge and lived experience that allow me to provide the best care for all of my clients. Let me help you reach your goals
